board times accurate?

something made me look at the times of posts, doesnt seem to be right, is it just me, am i losing my mind(more) or are they an hour fast...

SpeakersGoBoom 11-17-2004 11:58 PM

they are. if you go to your profile, i think if you set it to be an hour behind, it'll be accurate.

seems the admin forgot about daylight savings, fall back, oh well, i just wanted to blame someone lol.

SpeakersGoBoom 11-18-2004 12:02 AM

Set it to GMT - 5 Hours, and it'll be more or less acurate

Don't know what's up with it....the board clock is set to GMT - 5......switching it hasn't had an affect on post times (I did try to change it after daylight savings).

If you guys care, I'll look up phpBB's rules on DST....

You may have changed the board times, but our profiles were still set to GMT - 4 which probably overrides the board time. There should be some option to correct for DST...

phpBB sucks then. Time to break out the coding skills and get to work! I want ti fixed by spring when he change again ;)

Wait, giving you 4+ months to do something might be a mistake, it won't get done for another year... ;)
