Decent Kill for god ol Elty

So I was rolling home in 5th gear, kinda high of a gear for the speeds and RPM's I was at, when I see some really blue bulbs comming up in my reiw-view money. I think nothing of it, untill this super riced out white civic hatch (big wing, body kit, gills, the works) rolls up, and I immedietly pick up slack and catch up to him and roll steady for a few second taking in this monstrosety. His passenger looks over to see me checking this thing out, and I can see his eyes go straight to the Z28 (no joke) So I go to turn off the radio and in that one split second, all I hear is BURRR that mother took off like a rocket , so I downshifted to 4th and punched it to about 5k RPM's, my sweet spot. I immedietly cought up and passed him in a matter of seconds. I had to let off for traffic in my lane, and when i got behind him in 5th, and when i went to shift into 4th to pass him, I accidentally went into 6th but still had power to pass him up. I lost him down the road he never came back for seconds :D

I think it had more motor work then I thought, because he took me by at least half a car length because I wasnt paying attention.

can someone please explain to me why with japaneese cars its almost as if your car isnt fast if 50% of your weight is stickers? i mean, not all ricers have the shopping cart wings (most, but not all) Not all ricers have the massive wheels with so little tire that if you stop short, your going to wear right through your tire and be riding on your rim. But all ricers seem to have stickers. dont they know that putting stickers on cars started out as a redneck's way to cover up dents and scratches? if anyone knows where this horrifying trend began, please tell me. I had nightmares when someone i went to school with told me i should put stickers on my old firebird. "To make it look faster"

LOL This reminds me of 2 yrs ago. Theres a japanese kid down a few blocks from my house with the Beatle-looking civic hatchback, early 90's, lowered, 16" white wheels, euro tails, stickers that cover both front fenders, and on the back windshield, it reads:

"[H]"
"Honda 4 Life!"

And the black exhaust fumes covered his passenger side rear bumper (by the rice-can) and someone wrote "Rice!!!" on it with their fingers. So hilarious..
