Yet another wicked bored thread

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Tomorrow, I go for my job interview with Pine Belt Nissan. Time to move up into the world of being a service writer for a dealer. But at the same time, I have been offered the asst manager position at my present job at Sears Auto.
Nissan would net me more money, but probably wouldn't be too understanding about school.
Sears would net me abotu 10k less per year, but they would give me time for school as well as I know the system already and it would be cake. Its also 2 mins from my house, when the dealer job is in Keyport.
We will have to see.

then I gotta do something else....hrm...what was it..I had to go somewhere....errr...something about....ah, I forget.

Work on the Camaro? :clown:

Its only 9:38 and Im at school already, just have to wait untill 11 to see if I need to take my History final. And then for my Final Review for math @ 1:40. So that means alot of down time in the computer lab, whoring up the boards.

Stick with the 2 minute drive to work. It will save you a lot in terms of stress and physical condition in the long run.

:stupid: mo money does not always equal happiness

bluebird94 12-15-2004 11:38 PM

mo' money mo' problems yo

-TLC : No Scrubs lol idk

hmmm which one has a better future? lol aka in a year or two is there room for another promotion at sears? or is it more lucrative to work for nissan

BigAls87Z28 12-15-2004 11:46 PM

I dont want to make a carrear out of either.

I went to the nissan dealership, and they told me all this stuff about making near 75k a year doing this. I realized that I probably wouldnt be able to go to school at the same time. Sears would allow me to do that.

bluebird94 12-16-2004 05:52 PM

should have asked if they would work around your school schedule lol, 75K is damn good for a college student

BigAls87Z28 12-16-2004 09:53 PM

They wouldnt.
Now with Sears, I can make 45k being an asst manager, yet still go to school.

That's settles it, stick with Sears. A $30k "pay cut" sucks, but at 20 years old, $45k a year is still really good. Plus you can still go to school, since you have already said that you dont' wanna do this for the rest of your life.

BTW - how did the interview at Nissan go?

Interview went awesome actualy. I showed them my performance records from Sears, and they were very impressed. They really wanted me to work there, because at the one in Keyport, apparently they dont have such great writers there. Its more of a taking-order kinda place they have, instead of telling the customer what they need.
In my line of business...if you gunna take an order, McDonalds is always hiring.

Anyway, Id love to go work at Nissan, and if I didnt have any other asperations in life, Id probably go. Im trying to find a coworker to fill in, but all of them are pretty crappy.

I hate making big decisions like that. I hope everything goes well, and I'd stick with Sears.

ShitOnWheels 12-19-2004 12:33 AM

I worked 9 - 4, then I had a holiday party (where I got drunk off my ass and was flagged yet again...gee imagine that) that I JUST got home from (1:30am), and I have to be at job #1 at 9am - 12pm tomorrow, and then job #2 from 3 - 11...fun

BigAls87Z28 12-19-2004 12:36 AM

Awesome! Sounds like you will be paying for your partying all day tomorrow at work.
