engine compression?
how would you figure out the compression on an engine..
a friend might pull the 350 out of his car..it got rebuilt 3k miles ago..im interested in it but i have no idea about the specs of any of it... im going to pull the oil pan and check the crank casting number and check the heads.. i just want to know if it would be worth my time |
if you dont take it i might be interested.:D

You can figure it out by part numbers if you know what kind of pistons, heads, and block were used during the buildup. I don't remember the exact formula, but I'm sure that a quick :google: would be all that you need.

id take it because regardless of compression, you can mill heads, get smaller chamber heads or deck a block.

how much would it be worth?
