Does any1 know how much it would cost around about to convert an 86 firebird to true duel exhaust???????????preferably flow master but any good company price would do.

no companies make true duals for 86 firebirds... you would have to get a complete custom job done

first don't go true duals...its a waste on a 350 car let alone a 2.8...second...flowmaster sucks...get any typical bolt-up cat-back and you'll be happy

damn... theres jus things taht iritate me about my engines size and i wanna get as much power out of it as i can on a tight budget.PLus i like the idea of duels iono i wanna fix the rust the fact that its only am/fm radio im in process of fixxing my heater, and i wana fix the lining so its not sagging three inches down.and ill see where i go from there but i jus want a price range to work wit for now

Yeah, blowmasters are for sound, not performance. It just so happens they're flow better than stock mufflers, then again what doesn't. Straight through designs flow the best and personal, I think they sound the best.
True duals don't work well with a low to the ground vehicle. If you've got 28" tires out back and stock ride height you might not have an issue. Also true duals will make more average horsepower but it's not easy to do on a thirdgen. BTW, you're not talking about true duals on the v6 are you? Cause if so, don't, save for a v8 because no amount of resonable funding is going to get a 2.8 any respect let alone ricer beating performance.

:x i no but for now i wanna play with it i mean if a 4cyl can pump out 200hp y am i putting out 135?

There are lots of cheap ways to make the little 2.8 get out of it's own way.

The only way you'll make a 2.8 fast is by putting it in a 1500lb car.

2.8 and 3.1 are identical in every way except for size. They are just in different places on the timeline for the 60* V6 :)

dont go with flows- get a dynomax cat back- best sound out there imo for a v6 camaro, performs well too- never to a straight pipe like i had on my camaro it gets so annoying
