Saying Hello

Hello all, I'm new here. I saw the link in NJSPEEDER's sig over on fbody.com, so I figured I would stop by.

I picked up my Z at the end of September.
I'm going to keep it mildy stock for now. I replaced the shocks with KYBs and picked up bolt-in SFCs from SLP about two days after the Camaro came home.
I had some electrical issues with it, but that's all fixed now (long story :x ).

I also have an A-body that I bought when I was 16, it's seen quite a few hours worth of work.
I figured I'd post some pics up also--since WorldIsRound doesn't allow hotlinking I had to post just the links:

I noticed that two other people from TR just joined up.
What a nice coincidence, hopefully I can meet up with all you guys one night.

Nice camaro, and Chevelle. What was under the hood of the 71?
Welcome to the club by the way.
Another F/Body-A/Body man here- 94 Z28, and 64 SS Chevelle (in the sig.) started work on the chevelle at age 13- now 6 yrs later its almost done.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

86formula:
I ran the Chevelle. Â*The rear is still the original and it's seen its days, so I have to go mighty easy on it.
My best was 14.3. (I don't have the time slips down at school right now or I'd give you all my times)
I trapped at 98 mph with a 2.5 60' ... not too shabby, I'm plenty happy with those times.
My driving skills were, uummm, lacking/non-existant at that time.
I didn't get a chance to take the Camaro down the track. Â*Maybe I'll catch up with you guys opening day this year at E-town.

bad64chevelle:
I just turned 20 on saturday.
Right now there is a 350/TH350 in the Chevelle, with a 12-bolt (3.73s). Â*It was originally a 402 car.
I'm not sure if I will put one of the 454s, that are in the garage right now, in it.
I may go bigger. Â*:D
