Which is Bigger......

Which is Bigger???? A 85 Monte Carlo SS 305 H.O Rochester 4bbl or the 87 Z28 305 (non H.O) Rochester 4bbl. I was told the Monte carb is got more CFM then the Z28's stock carb.....I had to do a swap because i had no money and my buddy had his 305 H.O out of his 85 Monte....so i took the carb.

They're the same size - 750 cfm. The only difference is the '85 carb might have one less vacuum port than you need - you might have to put a T-fitting in to run all the vacuum lines properly.

check thirdgen.org for free mods to do on the q-jet... most likely the HO carb will have a better set of secondary rods and hangers which you can just pull out and drop into your carb..
