not anythign fancy, but everyone should have it in their email today. if everyone likes this we will put one out every month.

Good idea... all the unactive posters will maybe recieve the newsletter (if they put in their Email addy) and come back, correct? :-D Unless they moved to bangladesh :lol:

umm, when was it sent? I haven't gotten it yet...

erm, I still haven't gotten it...it's very rare for my mail to take an hour to get to me...

do you have soem spam blocking on your email? that is one thing we wondered about when we thought about trying this, if anyones email woudl file it as spam.
anyone seeing it land in a seperate folder of unsolicited email?

yeah, i kinda forgot about this place since i never went here often...it reminded me to ask if anyone was going to the M&M car show labor day weekend...

Hotmail put it into junk folder but I got that fixed... and i dunno if it's hotmail's doing or the email, but apostrophies are wierd. For example: "Bennigen’s"

Spell check?! Waht wlil taht do to teh lcak of calrity in teh psots taht Tim mkaes?!?!

That just means Tim's posts will either take an hour for him to correct and send, or choke the checker and crash the system. :lol:

I think the newsletter is a great idea. While some of us pour through most of the posts on the forums, a consolidated view of the club's more pertinent information is a great way for all members to stay on top of events, special changes, etc. Keep it up guys! The effort is really appreciated.

Hmm, it's not in my hotmail junk mail folder. :shrug: I'll have to go change my email and try again next time I suppose.

Genie, lemme know what e-mail address you change too, and I'll try sending you another e-mail to test it.

For anyone who has spam/junk mail blocking, the address that all newsletters and any other important club info will come from is admin@njfboa.org

me too and all my notifications come from njfbody.org too.

Btw, is there a reason that site isn't keeping me logged in while browsing the forums? I'm not inactive, I'm reading a post, and when I go to quote/reply, I either have to sign back in or after I hit submit I have to sign in. And then it doesn't post and I have to retype everything. I'm on mom's computer so I don't want to sign in permanently if I don't have to.

Something with cookie handling on her PC? I haven't modified session length or anything....
