they are coming out with new lines of cars, bring back the ss's on 6 or 7 models, eperementing with power adders.........brought caddy to rear wheel drive came out with cars that compete with the bmw m5.........

added a new motors to the lsx series,

brought out a new corvette with what is considered a vastly improved build quality over the c5......

the saturn redline series and cobalt ss will compete with the sport compacts

the gto will compete with the mustangs, chargers, hemis, magnums

the redesigned silverado ss will compete with the srt10 and any new gen lightning.

the caddys will now compete with any luxury brand out there,

and the corvette will compete with most any exotic out there

oh and they have a great showing in almost all professional racing circuits in the world....

Perhaps 30-40 years ago, when GM set the standard for interior and exterior design, and every other car was made by GM, literaly, yes everything was great.
But from the late 70's to about 2003, most interiors were very much full of Rubbermaid crap with crappy fitting pannles and squeeking trim pieces.
This is what most people now thing of when they think of GM.
