Header and oil pan clearance?

I have an 80 Camaro that i'm putting a 454 in. It's a drag race set up and i'll need a 7 qt oil pan because i have a high volume high pressure pump. I also have hooker super comp headers with 2 1/8...

Cal Trac traction bars?

I have an 80 camaro and i'm thinking of getting rid of the old "slapper" traction bars and getting the Cal Trac bars. Anyone have them? How much better are they than the old school traction bars?

8.5" Ten bolt

Does anyone know if an 8.5 inch ten bolt will handle 550 hp and 575ft/lbs.
I plan on getting stronger aftermarket axles, pro gear set, ARP fasteners and a support cover. I think that may hold up to...

My brother's got a mild 350 in his El Camino with headers and dual 3" all the way with Super 44s. It sounds deep and rumbles nice. It's loud at full throttle but it don't have that rapping sound.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i'm assuming a stock y-pipe will bolt up to shortie headers just like they would bolt up to a stock manifold. Is this right? And, if so, does anyone have a y-pipe laying...

I'm beefing up the rear on my third gen bird and i'm trying to decide which would be more worth it and practical. Poly or solid aluminum bushings for the control arms? I have a pretty much stock 305...
