Did he say anything about running the motor with no load? Something my old school guys mentioned. I’m sure just a little idling and revs with no trans is fine but you should ask their opinion on it

Is it the accessory delay? You know, locks, windows, and radio circuits remain energized for a specific time. Usually you wait an extended period of time before checking your draw so modules etc go...

Eh, I’d go electric. Get a wiring harness if you aren’t comfortable with doing that. The epump is easy to swap when it fails. Summit usually rebrands their **** so chances are it’s a car unit.

Search the web a bit, could be windage or could be worse. Either way, losing oil pressure while increasing rpm is not good. Not a bad idea to check with a manual gauge to verify though.

Losing oil pressure at WOT is bad but don't think its directly related. A mechanic's stethoscope sounds like a wise investment at this point.
