I usually top them with some watered down Chemical guys VRP. Gives it back some shine but its not...

No brake booster will make under the hood look way better.

IIRC autocross and road course guys preferred manual brakes over vacuum assist due to the improved pedal feel

Oil starts to break down at ~240F. So unless you're hot lapping it, I don't think you'll ever hit that.

2) Is it an LT1 sensor or LT4? I heard the LT1 sensors are more sensitive and can pick up false knock.

I think shifting from 1-2 at 5700 is a bit early. I'd probably shoot for 6200 at first, if it works maybe try 6000 and see if that helps more. 2-3 shift, I'd follow the same recipe.
