Yeah, drop the Y (or drop it enough to access the starter) and swap out the starter. Remove/replace. That's all.

I have an LT4 starter that I need to put into my '95 T/A. In order to get it to fit, I believe I'll need to drop/disconnect the Y pipe from my MAC headers. I don't have the tools to do this...
