I was gentle on my 98 383 until I swapped in a 12...
I was gentle on my 98 383 until I swapped in a 12 bolt...but walking it out seemed to do the trick. in contrast my 93 broke 5 stock rears with all sorts of ratios (and a couple of Auburns) from GM...

I guess I need to contact him, the car I just picked up has Pacesetter LTs and ORY and the EGR is having fits. I got rid of it on my LS1 383 and it ran fine, so !EGR it is :mrgreen:

the 04 LS1 has 'short' cylinder head bolt holes...
the 04 LS1 has 'short' cylinder head bolt holes as opposed to the short and long arrangement of other LS1 blocks, as I found out the hard way, lol

i wanted to run a larger PCV valve and hoses....but wasn't sure if this would help or hurt. I get a lot of oil in the intake, but figured breathers would not vent enough of the moisture build-up...
