I gotta think that if the pinion bearing was FUBAR, it didn't do the pinion *or* ring gear any favors. Also, how much metal did it dump in the rest of the bearings?

Somewhat odd question: Cell Phone Mount in 4th gen?

What are you guys using to hold your cell phones in the 4th gen cars? I tried using the stealth cupholder with a cup-type phone holder and it swings back and forth when I hit the go/stop pedals.

There going to be some rubber bushings in those top mounts? If they're bolted solid, still going to be a ****ton of vibration transmitted to the radiator, as well as the expansion/contraction...

I still say that I'd get it blasted first, no matter what finish you go with. Adhesion will be worlds better if the base coast is painted on a rougher surface, especially if you're not worried about...

If you can get it media blasted, that'll make the paint adhesion a ton better. Pinnacle would be sand blasted then powder coated, probably.
