i recently had all of my top teeth removed. the only part that hurt was the novacaine through the palate, but i don't suppose you'll have to suffer that. otherwise, modern dentistry is a dream. if you don't weather the general anesthetics well, i wouldn't get knocked out. don't know? go with a local. you really won't feel it like they used to do a few years ago.

not having anything to chew with, i still am not able to eat solid food, but i love chocolate ice cream. dry sockets are the worst (so i am told), but if you take care of the gauze situation you won't have a problem.

p.s. the generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone, which is codeine based.
