yea that law was just changed recently too. i kno because technically my first few times was illegal based on the old law. which was strictly anyone under 16 could not have sex. needless to say... i was 15. and my mother wanted him arrested. that is when she found out. around that time that law was changed to what i said before. i kno a lot about this kinda stuff b/c when my friends always seem to get in trouble. which they always do. im the one they turn to. ive gone thru underage pregnancys... arrests for statatory(sp) rape (it was consented.. but his consent didnt count because he was too young) etc. im also pretty up to date on emancipation laws as well which new jersey seems to lack. *sigh. that piece of knowledge has mostly been used for my own cause tho.
