nope, the k&n FIPK's are 50state legal and come with CARB and federal highway approval numbers. if they said anything to you about it all you would have to do is show them the info, it is actually on a sticker that you are supposed to put next to yoru factory emissions sticker.

err yeah thats kinda what i meant.....but say you got some cheapo APC filter or something and didnt get the sticker then it isnt legal.....see, stickers are good for something
