Why bother with a 12 bolt? Â*Just rip a used 10 bolt and buy a good carrier and gears. Then get the axle tubes welded and throw a good diff. cover on it. That will be half the price of the 12 bolt, and it will last a while.

how long did you run (and consistently race???) with your 10-bolt? i say build a decent 10 bolt and womp on that...when it becomes absolutely positive that you need a 12 bolt get it...unless of course u have a sick head/cam setup planned
