maybe caprice SS's are electric, lol, but i dont think Impala SS's are. I'm 99% sure my lt1 pump is shaft driven, the motor is out of a 96 Impala SS (6,609 miles) But in the future i'm goign to to the hedy duty electric pump which only directly fits the impala housings. The elctric conversion is big with the Impala SS crowd though. oh and yes there are caprice SS's in europe.
