Yeah, blowmasters are for sound, not performance. It just so happens they're flow better than stock mufflers, then again what doesn't. Straight through designs flow the best and personal, I think they sound the best.
True duals don't work well with a low to the ground vehicle. If you've got 28" tires out back and stock ride height you might not have an issue. Also true duals will make more average horsepower but it's not easy to do on a thirdgen. BTW, you're not talking about true duals on the v6 are you? Cause if so, don't, save for a v8 because no amount of resonable funding is going to get a 2.8 any respect let alone ricer beating performance.
