it is roller lifter. with roller lifterrs there is no ned for the K-kit. you can reuse your stock lifters as long as they aren't damaged because they don't "wear in to the cam" like flat tappet lifters do. just get a cam and a new timing chain.
LT1 cams are a good, low cost upgrade as deadtrend mentioned.
if you want a new cam, look at comp cams extreme energy line. they have much better lobe technology than the dual energy's have, so more power for teh same amount of work
