The headlight conversion you're talking about is probably the PIAA headligth conversion. A few years ago, before I bought my car in '99, a company called Ritek actually made the conversion and sold it as a kit. However they no longer make them or are in business i believe. But there are a few tutorials on how to do it. I did it a few years ago, but have since changed the low beams to a set of hella 90mm projectors w/ HIDs. and here is a more recent page with some pictures of the 90mm low beams. I have some night shots with them HIDs on but I can't find the link right now.
