On a serious note, how does the 250 feel? Can you still take it up to highway speeds pretty quick, especially with a light rider? I was looking at the 250's last summer, and the prices are still pretty good. I might just get one to have fun with, put a few miles on it, and then upgrade to the next size.

The 250 does just fine getting to highway speeds... it's still faster than most ricers
and I'm not a light guy either.. I'm 200+ and it still hauls nicely. Brand new Ninja 250's are $3000 according to the website, although the dealerships will sell for around $3300 - $3500. Still the cheapest 250cc bikes out of all brands. If you ever want to test out my 250, by all means you can try mine out. Just let me know and we can set up a time and place to meet.
