From what I just read, it is not definate that it is closing. Â*Bush and congress have to approve it. Â*And the committee will make visits in the next couple months to see if the recommendation is warranted. Â*I dunno how the visits work, but it could be that enough of stink is raised about the effects of the closing that they might disagree. Â*

I know it's not absolute yet, I just meant Al was right about it getting put on the list. I honestly didn't even think it would make it that far, because there have been talks about Monmouth closing (for real) for about a year now. I've been following it ever since.
I also seriously doubt Bush/Congress/whichever committee will be visiting EACH and EVERY location... probably only the ones that have a significant conflict whether or not to close. Then again, let's hope Monmouth is on that list!
