, that sounds like the exact car my friend Ethan has. His is an 84 Olds Brougham that was spotless. I honestly wouldn't have had any problem eating out of the engine bay! He ripped it apart to build it up but I think he's selling it to get it out of his parents garage (works for Jim Head funny car team in Columbus Ohio). The 3.8 carb was a POS to the nth power. It was so slow that I couldn't tell if he had a lead foot or not... he would tell me periodically on a slight upgrade that he's floored just to watch me bust out laughing. It was terribly underpowered to the point of not even being a cruiser. A cruiser needs to have some power to be able to pull out into traffic, this didn't even have that.
Seeing as it's a g-body you have a lot of options as far as building one up. The GN's did mighty well with that platform
