he could also do extrude hone to the cobra intake...from what i remember the cobra has enough material they can make it flow more then the gt-40 intake. |

yah your probably right...buy the gt 40 and sell the cobra...you could probably make all your money back...give or take a bit...actually if you can find just a gt40 upper the cobra lower is the same so you could just buy the upper really. |
i do have gt40 aluminum X heads so it might be a good match for some more power |
the thing is they are the same port style...its just that the gt 40 upper is slightly different then the cobra & flows slightly better...but the $300-400 probably would be better spent on something else IMO...i was checking out how much cobra intakes go for now and its not even worth it anymore...cuz the 94-95 mustang 5.0's & explorers basically used a cobra intake...took the value right out of them.
