If it starts, dies, but restards and dies again and again then it's a lean condition (if it's fuel related). If it were rich it would quickly flood and foul the plugs. You'd have to wait a while or remove the plugs and crank it over to dry them out before restarting... or with EFI you just go into "clear flood" mode .
You've tried adjusting the idle corner screws?
