They only get the 5-year/60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty, which I don't remember exactly what it covers, but it covers significantly less. I know this because I'm actually looking to buy a Hyundai this fall as a daily driver.
I'm down with the others...
Dealers = CRAP.
If the current car is fine, don't buy another one.

That's the thing, I don't want a Hyundai. I want something else, just about anythjing else. Like I said, they have a Jag on the lot...it's also a Cadillac dealer, so I could go that route
Want my Hyundai? Buy out my loan and it's yours.

Doesn't mean I still can't try, lol.
I called this morning to see what my pay off is...$4831. KBB puts the value between $5165 and $5885 (depending if you classify it fair or good).
And true, the original warranty may not exist, but if it's 5 yrs/60k from when it's purchased by second owner, it's still pretty good, I think. Figure if I were to sell it, I'd take it in for an inspection at the dealer (free) and have them fix anything under warranty, and have them tell me what else needs to be done and I"ll get it done (belts and such, probably) before selling it.
Problem is, getting someone who will buy it. Oh well.

5 yr/60k warranty is limited though... it's only for powertrain, so it covers a ****load less than the original warranty.
