it will if you get the tune right. i passed with the 350/carb in the '87, and plan on doing the same once i get the 406 together for it. it's gotta be lean, though... |
What cam did you have in the 350 though? I know mine isn't huge (230/236, .490/.490, 110 LSA ground +4) but the only emissions equipment it has are the dual cats in the Y-pipe. General concencus seems to be that I can lean it out, and turn the idle up a bit to get it to go through, so hopefully that will work (as long as they don't do a visual).
Like I said, Dad runs a private inspection station (and no, he won't give out stickers) so I can at least test it there and see how it does first.
