This sounds feasible, as when Tim looked at my pads a while ago (last summer I think), there was still a lot of pad left, so I'm guessing they could be getting down to the sensors.

However, I don't work on my car...I change my oil and rotate my tires only. I'll see if I can get someone to look at it.
