I walk into work at 0739 this morning, normal time. We show up pretty much any time before 0800. So I come strolling in, laptop case around my shoulder, 93 Service Manual in one hand, hat and cell phone in the other hand. There's a large group of people standing right near my cubicile. Uh oh. I notice that they're the 2nd ARS Commander and Director of Operations (squadron who I'm attached to), and the 305OSS Commander (the squadron who I work for), and the 1st Sergeants from each.
"SSgt Wall, what's your normal show time for work!" Ummmm....0730ish???

"No biggie" they say, they're just showing the new 2nd ARS commander around (change of command was yesterday). But then the new commander says to me "But I've got something else for you........"
And he hands me a set of TSgt Stripes.

Yup, I made TSgt at 8 years. Nothing could spoil my mood today.
