you could also try gravity bleeding them. Just hook a hose to the bleeder and put the other end into some sort of catch container. Leave the bleeder open and let the fluid just run through on it's own. It will take a while but it worked wonders on my C5 setup. Also DO NOT LET THE MASTER RUN DRY! This will cause you a ton of headaches.
