well i figured otu what it is...theres a metal strap thats partially welded to the kmember that holds in the steering rack that was partially bent...this in turn i guess slightly moved the rack one way...its messed up bad enough that i seriously doubt I could fix it without damaging it further. However it doesnt appear as if its condition will worsen at all so it is driveable...just a little weird in how the positioning is
