His governer is way too high for that engine. It's no 383 long stroker but a 350 with a 6000rpm shift poing is far from optimal. Not to mention I had the rev limiter set at 6100 from GM's 10000rpm stock setting

I think with some hook, 1 more track visit with about 3-4 runs, and short shifting the 1-2 to prevent tire smoke it'll be a mid to low 13 sec car.
The humidity was so high that on the drive there huge rain drops the size of golf balls were coming from the sky! It was hot, muggy, and not a good night for racing.
I can't wait to go back. Anybody up for Atco next week?
