cleaned all the grounds, or all that i could see. thats how i found out i have daytime runnin lights

the chick that owned the car lived in egg harbor twsp and worked in AC so theres all corroision from salt and **** in the engine bay i managed to clean most of it up, but its a pain in the ass. well yea i cleaned the grounds up and my dad was like "Bran, your lights are on." and i was like "uhh no there not" and he was like yea they are" and i said "no there not the switch is turned off" then he was like "oh, you must have DRL" and other suggestions?
