only get a tattoo from a shop you have researched. Â*also, work with the artist and make sure he is willing to spend time with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. Â*I know that's nowhere near you're asking, but the staff is great there and I can show you tattos I got there 5+ years ago that look like they just healed. Â*lastly, the quality of a good tattoo far outlasts the money saved by going to the shady place down the street.
^This gentleman def has some good info. I just got my first tat in 8 yrs yesterday, and I also used The Ink Spot, but the one in Greenbrook. I went in with a good idea of what I wanted {barbed wire band across my bicep} and I was lead right to some in house sketches very close to my idea. I selected the one I liked best, and I was getting inked within 20 min. The last tat I got {also at the Ink Spot} has some nice shades of blue in it, and the artist I used yesterday put the same shades of blue into my new tat. I am very pleased with the end result, and I will def be going back.
