That's why I like pull. I'm not an all out drag racer so to me it's not about the ET as much as it is getting the most power out of the car. I guess I always thought it was too easy to stick on some big sticky tires and punch the gas to the floor... then I got some power in my car and it's more fun just trying to trap higher through tuning and cutting respectable 60' times on street tread. The later has been more difficult for me. Slapping on slicks and not trapping very fast to me isn't as fun as a driver. Just my view point. Obviously I'd like both but having something that's slippery out of the hole (don't think dirty thoughts don't think dirty thoughts) makes for a lot more fun. It's the same with a manual trans... harder to drive, usually doesn't "hook" as good as an auto but puts down more power to the wheels and usually traps higher speeds.
