fwiw alex i was in the same position as you until I was like 21-22ish...the only mod I had ever done was an slp intake on my 94 formy. Once tim & I were back on speaking terms he helped me mod my truck & with every thing I did I gained more and more confidence in what I could do & do well. Not to mention the $ saved in installing these parts I have gathered an arsenal of tools...everything from my mig welder & air compressor with everything from a blow gun to a paint gun to my wrenches, drills, hammers, pulley pullers & so on and so forth...bottom line is your have to figure out what you want...because if you think your gonna have someone make you a fast car you need to make more hourly then your giving them...or you can make $10/hr & do the work yourself & have a car thats just as fast. If you can do both the more power to ya.
