yeah i have to agree with you guys. ive gotten out of so many tickets only because i came close to being a cop myself before i left cali and i have a lot of friends that turned out to be cops so i understand what kind of person it takes to be one. most cops are egotistical and like being in charge. you have to recognize this and check your ego because when it comes down to it, their ego will win every time. ive always just been polite, admitted what i was doing, if indeed i did it, and nonchalantly flashed my old marine corps id. never did i take it out of my wallet to let him see it, you cant spout off about connections cuz that definitely pisses them off, nothing worse then them doing there job and someone getting off because of "connections". anyways, the cop always let me go and one time even when i was doing 75 in a 25 (i was tapping my leg and saying that i really had to take a **** and i lived around the corner, i worked). just have a clean record, play dumb so the cop can seem smart by schooling you (oh officer i didnt know my inspection was up i forgot to check my card. "well the sticker on your license plate tells you when it is due" oh really i didnt know thanks. "just be more attentive in the future" yeah this really happened to me!) and be respectful. youll get away with murder every single time.
