My car was not an investment when I bought it 5-1/2 years ago. I wanted something different and the JL8 definitely stands out in a crowd. But the market on the cars and the parts has gone up so fast that it pretty much doubled the cost to restore it and almost doubled the value as well. I would have never put this much money into a car if I knew I would never be able to get it back out of it. Hopefully my car will be done by late next summer and the market will determine what I do with it. Regardless of whether I keep it or sell it, I plan on getting another Camaro to drive that isn't as valuable.
