yeah, lol, i need it to be near perfect. no dings even if possible. then i'd have it painted black for my friend. I still havent talked to him about it yet though, but im sure i can convice him. The main thing is that i want to try to do this as soon as possible since his car is for sale now, and i havent even planned when im going to be picking up my z28 from down south(probably late oct or early Nov.). If i had my z28 now, i'd just paint that hood black and swap that one, but since he'll probably sell the car before i get mine up here, i need another hood, then once i get my car, i can sell my mint stock blue hood to get some of the money back that i'm putting out now for a hood and paint. And if you're wondering why i dont just buy a cowl hood new for myself, in the long run itll be far cheaper this way.

stock hood($0-$150) + paint($100 my cost)+ $100 cash for swap= $200-$350
vs.
new cowl hood($425) + shipping(around $75) + paint($100)= $600

and in both cases i can sell my stock hood which is in good shape for about $100. so when all said and done, doing it this way would cost about $300 less than buying my own cowl hood.
