well it feels good to have gotten that out of the way. i knew it was going to happen and it made me feel uneasy driving the car. but oh well now, lol, I had to take the Monte SS to work since my Denali is getting a ****load of warranty work done. So, on my way home from dumont, i was stopped right at the light on knickerbocker and grant and a cresskill cop drove by and was staring me down bigtime. He then turned around right away and once i had the green, I made my turn and pulled over since i knew he was coming back for me. Sure enough as i pulled against the curb he came flying up with his lights on. I shut down the car since its a tad loud with the full length headers and true dual 3" exhaust which dumps under the middle of the car. not to mention seatbelts are flopping loose from the ceiling, wires are hanging from the roof for the ttop trim mounted gauges, center console is like 3 different peices still and half the trim is laying in the back seat and on the floor. anyways, He walked up asked for my paperwork, i gave it to him, then he said "so this just wont pass inspection or what?" I guess thats since i have a inspection sticker which expired in august. (i was hoping the 4" cowl hood would block that, lol) I just told him my main truck is in the shop and I needed to take this to work and i'l still in the process of building it. He said oh ok, gave me my paperwork back and told me to have a good day and went back to his car. He must have jumped when i fired it up and drove off. and if you dont know cresskill cops, they are said to be complete ********. I think they are nice, but it helps to have a PBA card
