have you put those 4 degrees of timing back in it since you pulled them?
is ti cranking at full speed? on a big inch/high compression motor a little loss of cranking speed from a dying batt or starter can easily create a no start condition.
get thecar back to where everythign was when you started having trouble and check these things over. if you don't see any improvements give shafiroff a call and see what suggestions they have.
