The dumped exhaust definitely catches unwanted attention. I got pulled over by some cop (looked like he was 12 years old) and he asked me what happened to my car and why it was so loud. I told him its so old the exhaust rusted off and that I was on my way to the exhaust shop. I guess he wasnt that dumb, cause he then in turn asked me if I had a 283 or a 327
DOH! He also busted my chops about my inspection sticker, I was gonna try "Its so fast that it fell off" but i didnt want to push my luck...
And no I dont have "QQ" tags, nor is the car inspected. I cant wait till i go sit in line at DMV, they are going to have a field day with me. Im still trying to get it registered as a "Collector Car" so they only have to make sure my speedometer and brakes work, and also that I have legal tread on the tires.
