that really was the only way for them to react to it. if they locked the thred, people would still see it. if they deleted the thread, anyone that had anything to do with it would get all pissy bacause "their thread got deleted for no good reason!". warnings work well, but not if something is severe enough to justify a temporary ban. i dont know if I saw the pic or not. I saw some pics last night, but I dont know if they were the ones that caused the upset.
I dont know exactly what went down, but I put a lot of faith into the admins decision making ability. dont read this the wrong way, I'm not kissing admin ass, and I'm not siding with j0n either. I dont know exactly what happened, so I am stating how I feel based on the facts available to me.and the way it seems to me is j0n posted something way over the top and the admin(s) decided that a temporary ban was the best solution. j0n is pretty hard headed though, so I doubt he will be back anytime soon, even after the ban is lifted
