I dunno... they both have their Pro's and Cons... both have some sort of suicidal thoughts, but the goths usually have scars.
Then theres appearance. You can definately tell a gothic guy IS one indeed, emos look more like girls. Then theres hair styles. Id personally like to take a pair of rusty hedgeclippers to every haircut I see that resembles goth/emo, thats just me. But I have a few gothic friends from high school i still talk to once in a while cuz I get along with almost anybody with the exception of full-blown goths and emos. At least Goths have some sort of personality, as speaking to an emo is like talking to a bag of ****ing dirt.
