I used to do stupid stull like that, but thankfully nothing ever happened and no one ever got hurt or damaged their vehicles. I'm past that stage now.
It doesnt make sense at all to do crap like that on the streets. If you want to impress people with how fast your car is, go to the track, you'll have a MUCH larger audience and you'll have more fun. Plus....ITS SAFE!!!!
And to all those guys that say they never race at a track, thats because their cars werent built well enough to pass tech.
I realize there are people on this board who do street race, some a lot more than others

. even if you built your car yourself and you know every inch of it like the back of your hand, anything can happen. a valve lock can pop out when your redlining in third and drop the valve, bounces around and eventually the motor locks up. you're going over 100 mph and now you have no control over the car. I pray that never happens to anyone, but as jakes story proves, anything can and will happen on the street.
