No special tires. But like I said, if there's any amount of snow on the roads, there's no reason to be out driving even if you have 4WD. How many snow storms do we get that are more than 4" of snow? Maybe 3 or 4 a year. I would wait until noon and go in for a half day if the roads were cleared enough. When we get 12"+ of snow, usually most businesses shut down and they probably declare a snow emergency in which you shouldn't be on the road anyway. If you're an EMT and have no choice then you should be driving a 4WD vehicle for bad weather. I couldn't get moving any faster than 15 mph with the supercharger on the Z28 in snow. I drove 3 times in any decent amount of snow and that was it. I would leave work as soon as it started to stick on the ground.
