When you would restart your computer you can press f-1 (setup) or f-10 (restore) he said that Restore the system came up and pressed ok or restore it took about 20mins. to complete and he thought that's what you pressed, i don't think he reformated it, it just takes it back to the factory settings from Compac, so to me i don't think he deleted anything, but i'm not the greatest with a computer, thanks for getting back.
